I qualified as a massage therapist in 2006 studying Swedish massage at Heathhall College in Dumfries. I have since gone on to continue my education at Glasgow Caledonian University, qualifying in sports & remedial massage with The Western School of Massage. I am always continuing to increase my knowledge & ability by attending regular up to date courses including advanced remedial workshops.
Sports & remedial massage treatments are especially effective for easing muscular aches, pains & strains, helping to improve restricted range of movement. Regular massage treatment can gently ease muscular adhesion`s & scar tissue helping to reduce recovery time from injuries & operations. Suitable for all ages and abilities it is also good for boosting circulation helping the body to naturally eliminate toxins.

Pregnancy massage is available after the first 12 weeks of the pregnancy. It is highly beneficial for the relief of aches & pains & will help promote rest & relaxation.

I have a diploma in pre & post surgery, Godoy & Godoy method Manual Lymphatic drainage. I am also qualified in the original Voder method. MLD treatments have powerful cleansing, pain relieving immunological effects. Used primarily to promote the optimal functioning of the lymphatic vessels that lead to the circulatory system. Facilitating the removal of metabolic wastes, excess water, toxins and bacteria. MLD is extremely gentle & relaxing & is effective in the treatment of a wide variety of conditions including oedema, sinus congestion, digestive disorders, pre & post surgery, lymph node removal & may even help to reduce swelling after a long haul flight. It naturally helps to enhance the activity of the immune system.
I am also qualified in aromatherapy & create my own signature massage oil blends. Each blend has it`s own unique benefit, enhancing the feeling of well-being & may be either uplifting, calming or soothing, helping promote sleep, relieving stress related tension & headaches & easing muscle fatigue.
