The consultation process

Prior to your first massage treatment I will go through a consultation form with you & carry out a postural & movement assessment. This may add up to 30 mins extra to your appointment time. I will ask you for details of when & how your injury or discomfort occurred. Before I carry out the massage treatment I will fully explain what results you may expect and which methods I feel would be most beneficial for you as an individual. Deep tissue & sports massage may leave you feeling a little tender, achy & tired for anything up to 3 days after. Some people may feel instant relief from their first massage & some people may require up to 3 treatments before they feel results. I will continually assess your progress to be sure massage is beneficial for your specific needs.
